For those of you:

about to start

started

who still have the magic beans (Enzalutamide) as a future treatment option.

I've been on the magic beans for over 15 months now. They are still protecting me (see my profile). I hope they do as well by you as they have done by me.

Cheers Paul.

Hot flushes but nothing special, they don't affect my quality of life.
Minor fatigue but again nothing that affects my quality of life.
High BP controlled by medication but again nothing that affects my quality of life.
Constipation that comes and goes but is controlled by laxatives.

All in all it's a walk in the park!

Hope your run on the magic beans continues! My OH had a good run on them too, wish they worked indefinitely!

Great to hear your news David. Inspirational. Magic beans, I missed out on the trial and battling away on the HRT and early Chemo, feeling pretty good though. Best wishes.

Hi David
Great to hear of your progress with magic beans and thanks for sharing it with us . Long may it continue.

Like you I'm on enzalutamide and have been since dx in Jan 2015.
15 months so far
Psa still bumbling along at around the .04 to .07.
It is part of Stampede Trial and I take it with Prostap.

How are you for side effects, me I've hot flushes which are maneagable and fatigue and muscle weakness/ache.

Long may the treatment work.

Paul

With some fluctuations as one might expect, you seem to be doing well on the Enzal - long may this continue.
