I know I am just beginning this journey....

I just recently finished 39 radiation treatments with manageable side effects. My PSA is currently <0.10ng/mil. Total dose delivered was cGY7800 (abdominal lymph nodes and prostate). My beginning score was PSA 6, G 8 (4+4) T4 N0M0. In addition, I just received my second Lupron shot.

says 39 in his bio, so more than the standard 74 if given in fractions of 2Gy.

Yes I did read it - that's why I was asking, Barry. I wondered why the extra 2 days.

Good to get the RT out of the way - at Gy78 total, was it 39 fractions or 37?

Did you have the full dose to the lymph nodes? I was only offered 50-55Gy to the lymphs when I had 74Gy of RT to the prostate and seminal vesicles two years ago. The oncologist refused to increase the dose to the lymphs when I asked for more. Also, I was told later that I was only given RT to the lymphs because I was a trials patient. Other patients weren't offered it at all.

Dartview, how many sessions was the 55Gy spread over?
