PSA after first Hormone onjection

User
Posted 06 Jun 2016 at 11:31

Just thought I would let people know how quickly my PSA has dropped since my first hormone injection. I had my first injection 9 weeks ago when my PSA was over a 1000. It has already come down to 8.6 with only the one injection. I have now started on the stampede trial where I had my first chemo 9 days ago.

The Christie have said what ever I am doing myself to carry on as this must be helping me.

I hope this gives other people hope.

Dave,

That's an impressive drop in Psa levels and good to read.

Good luck with the rest of your treatment.

Hi Dave great to have a big drop like that after such a short time. My PSA was 63 and dropped to 0.5 after being on HT for three months and I have read others that have posted the same so it is doing what it is supposed to do.

Never the less congratulations for results so far long may they continue to fall.

Regards Chris/Woody

Dave
What a fabulous result. It must be heartwarming.
Good luck with your ongoing treatment.
I'm 18 months on now with a Stampede Trial involving enzalutamide and so far so good with psa still running below 0.1.

Hi Dave brilliant news! My hubby is 58 and a similar diagnosis. It definitely helped reading your post. Keep doing whatever you're doing.

Good luck

Hi Debbie

Good luck in the future. The main thing which is hard is to stay positive.

Thanks
