Hello tomsow and welcome to the site.
Waiting for results is always a worrying time and it's no good anyone of us telling you "not to fret" because you will.
You say your Gleason score showed as 6. Was that 3+3? Are you assuming that there is spread because of the high PSA or have you been advised of this?
While you wait for the results you can go to publications on this site and download The Toolkit which you might find helpful.
Unfortunately, until you have the rest of your results there isn't much we can do for you, although I am sure that there will be members along to reassure you.
We have members on here with PSA in the the thousands and although they are not curable they are still with us and living full lives (albeit altered lives)
Please get back to us when you know the results and I am sure somebody will be able to help you.
In the meantime, all the best
Sandra

Hi Tomsow,
Yes, the "waiting around" is frustrating but soon you'll have your scan results and your team will be able to put a treatment regime in place.
Use this time to read up on PCa (put stick to reputable websites), download the toolkit as Johnsan suggests and formulate some questions to take along with you to your next consultation. Lots of people in this community so if you have a question just ask.
All the best

Had meeting with consultant today and he was happier with results of scans. No spread outside of prostate despite a PSA of 129. Started on hormone therapy today with radiotherapy in 3 months time.
Overall I feel happier that I know what I am dealing with and happy that it seems to be contained.
Now to see what the side effects of hormone treatments are!

Thanks for the update tomsow.
Good luck with the side effects. Hope they are few and manageable
