Think it's best to ask radiographers for advice but on the couple of occasions it happened to me I simply had dry toast and a couple of digestive biscuits. Might just have been coincidence but each time it cleared up within a few hours without using any medication.

Really hope you get this sorted as it isn't pleasant when you are just trying to get through the RT.

Hi Nidge,

When I was in your position, my hospital issued a special 'low fibre diet sheet' to patients receiving RT.

You should eat only white bread, white rice, white pasta, steamed or boiled root veg, steamed chicken or fish, and bizarrely Jaffa Cakes.

You should avoid all red meat, fried food, green veg, beans, onions, wholemeal bread, brown rice and all fruit.

Sounds counterintuitive, but its only for a few weeks.

:)
