My father has advanced prostate cancer. He has extensive bone cancer that has been treated by two different types of treatment. The last one has just stopped working and his PSA has started to rise again and is currently 28. He has slow release morphine morning and evening, he is very weak and his mobility is very poor.

My problem is that nobody really tells us how this cancer is killing my dad and whether that is happening now or this is going to get worse or stay as it is with him getting weaker or will he become very ill.

My dad is very brace and doesn't like to tell you when he is struggling and I just want to help and be there for him and make sure that he is comfortable and has a good qualitie of life.

We are due to start radiotherapy in a month and this is to stop the bones from breaking. I wish there was something to stop my heart breakingđź’”
