Anyone else in their 30s?

I'm currently being investigated due to an enlarged right side to my prostrate and a PSA of 10.

Everyone kept telling me not to worry due to my age, right up until my GP found a lump during a DRE. Google keeps giving me typical scores and symptoms for over 50 and just seems to dismiss the idea of someone my age having PC.

I'm just curious to find out if I should be more or less worried given my age.

It's relatively rare for someone under 40 to have PCa but definitely not impossible. There have been many of us on the site recently , and also on the Facebook page , who are in our early to mid forties.

Yes, look for Law who was diagnosed recently at the age of 31 and has opted for active surveillance for the time being.

I try again. Link shows those in 30's do better than the older group.

Thanks for that, Ray. However there are quite a few websites that show stats that aren't favourable compared to this link (that I completely missed) and as much as I'd rather believe that link I'm not convinced.

It does, however, back up my observation that it just isn't common in your 30s.
