PROJECT TO EVALUATE A NEW WEBSITE FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER
Is this you?
If you have had prostate cancer treatment you may know that incontinence (bladder or bowel leakage) is common. In interviews, men have told us they have had very little information to help them look after their catheter after surgery and to manage their incontinence.
Would you like to help improve the information available to men?
If so, we are seeking men to assist with the evaluation of a new website. This has been developed specifically for men having prostate cancer treatment. Information is provided about catheter care and incontinence products as well as other resources e.g. men talking about their experiences. This work has been funded by Prostate Cancer UK (Movember).
What would you need to do?
If you are a man (18 years +) who has experience of incontinence after treatment for prostate cancer, you may be suitable for this project. You will be asked to complete two short questionnaires and tell us your views about the new website before it is launched! We would very much appreciate your help.
