I am back on the roller coaster, as after diagnosis in July 2013 with Gleason 9 PSA 21 which has spread into Lymph glands around Aorta and right hip bone. I first had surgery with negative margins, but biopsy of 15 lymph glands found cancer in 5 of them. Treatment with first one Hormone then 2, brought PSA down to 0.1 up to June 2016. Then 10 rounds of Doxatexal Chemo. Which again brought PSA down to 0.28 in July 2016. By March 2017 PSA quadrupled in 3 months. CT scan showed spread to lymph nodes in neck and throat plus right lung!!!!! Ugh!!!!!!! Yesterday started Enzalutamide of which the first shock is the 9mm by 4mm tablets x4 to swollow once a day.
I would like to hear other people's results good and bad on this medication. Plus anything you found helped?
