Hi My name is julie.

I'm just looking for some help, my husband had his prostate remove in July 2013 at the age of 49, last year his cancer came back, he went for 20 sessions of radiotherapy which was 6 months ago.

We have just had the results and have not really any idea what they mean, any thoughts please.

  PSA      <0.1  ug/L   <3.00ug/L

HbA1c levl-IFCC standardised          40   mmol/mol        <42.00mmol/mol

Many Thanks

It means that his PSA is undetectable at less than 0.1 and he doesn't have diabetes

The second numbers indicate the normal range so in a healthy person a PSA of less than 3 ( <3.0) and a haemoglobin level of <42 are fine.
