I'll try and help as much as I've experienced.   As had something similar ish..  
However my 10/10 pain only lasted about 5 minutes    And on about 5 occasions.
May I clarify.  Where you fully continent after catheter removal.     Also how much 'work' are you doing? ? 
Mine came very unexpectedly after a very full bladder and I had been for a long walk.  I had been holding on probably 30 mins.beyond comfortable. 
I was never told the reason other than these possible. .
1. Cramp. Spasm . Bladder wall re-syncing !
2. Hem o lock clip may have got lodged and then passed
Mine always happened 30 seconds AFTER emptying bladder.
Enscrucating pain.  I understand totally. My threshold I consider quite high.  This was like a knife plunged into the bladder.  I was immobile,  sweating prefusily . No one around.  Thankfully it slowly reduced over about 10 minutes to a manageable level.
It's very unlikely your 'join' has leaked.  I asked about this and was told there would be far serious symptoms.        Has you urine always been clear ?   I had no visible blood in mine at all.    Apart from this my op was a wall in the park in many ways.

only obviously info to add is  Try and not over do it.  Keep caffeine,  alcohol and anything to potentialy irritate bladder to an absolute minimum , at least for month.   Obviously don't let urine get strong either. Keep the waterworks active...   I still get odd twinges, dull aches , pains however zero leakage and seldom get up at night.
