Procaid trial

Has anyone been or is participating in the Procaid trial it involves docetaxel plus a new drug . It was proposed as one of the options for my husband as opposed to docetaxel. I would be interested to hear of someone who is participating. Thanks

I haven't seen anyone posting about it. We had a member a few years ago who tried to get on a trial for another version of AZD but I don't think he met the criteria. You might find more info by searching for 'AZD5363'

It is the same trial I think, the oncologist suggested it but she needs to thoroughly check if my husband meets the criteria other wise it's a choice between docetaxel or aberiterone. We will know more when the results of the scans etc comes in
