After the worst couple of weeks of my life, PSA rose from 4-12 in six months a 3T MPMRI and on friday a 72 core mri guided biopsy and expecting the worst. I have just been told I DON'T have prostate cancer at all! Biggest relief I have ever felt, PSA is caused by a benign prostate condition called Sclerosing Adenosis and it appears the intial biopsy report was either an error or and Incidental finding.
Thank you to all the people who replied to my concerns, I have done masses of research on the subject and hopefully I will be able to reply to others concerns in return.
Finally best of luck to those going through this ordeal, in the end it seems I've been lucky but I definitely lived a bit of it, the waiting, the psa jumps, scans and biopsies the worst moments of my life kept coming.
