Hi all,
I hope that 'My Story - A Year On...' proves to be interesting to some of you, I would dearly like some feedback from those of you in similar circumstances.
My original story can be found here; http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/posts/t11856-First-Post---My-Story#post147679
I was diagnosed at the end of April 2016 (PSA 11.2 Gleason 4+3), I had just turned 49 - I had a RP on 21 May 2016 and due to my age and the fact I had a family, I returned to part-time work after 4 weeks and full time after 8 weeks.
Unfortunately, my 8 week PSA test scored 2.8 so I was offered Prostap and Radiotherapy, the hormone injection began immediately (July 2016) and Radiotherapy in September which lasted for 6 1/2 weeks (33 sessions)
It has just passed my 1-year surgery anniversary and I am doing well, my PSA is now at 0.015 which is great. I still have incontinence issues which are (obviously) worse when I have a drink. With regard to ED well that's pretty disastrous if I am honest, I visit the Andrology Department every 6 weeks or so and I currently have a pump but I really don't like it, I have been offered the injection which may happen sometime in July.
The Prostap injection is something I really don't like, I suffer from hot sweats (particularly at night), I have lost all hair on my legs below the knee, I have no libido whatsoever and I can be quite 'difficult' at times (according to the Mrs!)
At the end of October 2016 (just 1 week before my Radiotherapy finished) I was made redundant from my then job and although I received some pay it was only enough to get me through to the end of January 2017. Fortunately, in February 2017 I applied for a freelance job writing for a healthcare website, this turned out to be https://www.apogium.co.uk who specialise in incontinence products! :-)
I work for the company 3 days per week creating content for the site and this is where I would like some feedback... I sincerely hope that I am not breaching any site rules here... please let me know if that is the case.
I would like some feedback on a couple of articles (blog posts) that I have written, here they are;

There are others but I don't want to annoy anyone!
Many thanks for taking the time to read my update, I look forward to hearing from you.
Andy
