Hi Radar, My need to get up so frequently ( up to 8 times a night at peak diminished until it reached pre RT/HT level after about 10-12 weeks after those treatments ended. I would have hoped that your experience would have been similar. In your shoes I would speak with my GP and ask to be referred to an appropriate consultant.

So I am aware how debilitating such frequent nocturnal sleep interruptions can be.. I wonder whether you have tried the system, (I used a 'Conveen' one), whereby urine is ducted to a leg bag via a tube connected to a sheath on your penis. A small bag is used during the day and a larger bag at night. It needs some confidence to trust and get accustomed to this arrangement but it could enable you to have better nights, at least until things improve.

Just a further thought. It could be that your bladder is easily aggravated. Have you tried changing to decaff tea/coffee? Also cranberry juice can sometimes help and not taking in fluid for several hours may help reduce frequency too. I attended a urinary clinic for another problem some years before I was diagnosed with PCa. The foregoing formed part of the advice I was given. Additionally, I was told to try to hold on as long as possible before passing water as part of bladder retraining. A final thought is that when you wake in the night you may have a pee because you can feel that if you don't do so then you may only sleep for a short time before the need causes you to wake again shortly thereafter.
