After first Docetaxel

A warm good evening to everyone,

My OH had the first of 6 infusions on Monday and for the last couple of evenings he has been experiencing quite severe pains in his feet and toes, he describes it as numbness and tingling and a knawing pain similar to toothache.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi my OH Gary had chemo 2 years ago with good results (so Far !)and found he had extreme pains around day 3/4 After chemo that seemed to circulate his body and mainly target all his old injuries! eg broke bones ,cracked ribs and even his ear which had been burnt with molten solder from his job! Hang on in there as they may continue but as Gary’s did may get better over time . If in doubt contact the helpline to get advice ,I think with hind sight we maybe should have used the help line to get advice rather than wait till next app . But did find co- codamin helped
