It depends what his flow rate was. The residual volume is not great for his age but nor is it dreadful and in itself doesn’t tell you what the problem is. My husband was diagnosed with a urinary muscle problem at age 35 - his urologist said he had a bladder like old leather - and he was prescribed tablets for the next 15 years which made things a lot better. Your husband might have a bladder that has aged quicker than the rest of him, or it might be another problem like benign enlarged prostate (BPH).
You said in January that the urologist would do a template biopsy if the next PSA was still raised - I assume that is still a possibility?
