I am glad that it has reassured you. As you can see from mine it did oscillate a bit to start with as the cancer cells slowly died (I like to think of them screaming as they did so) but settled down. I had a long journey with fear as a companion because I had a very rare type and a fast relapse post op but it turned round and so did my fears. I learned that you can get focused on the negatives of the numbers but quite often, lady luck smiles on you. You just have to take it one day at a time. Good luck to you both!

Its all good. They are still keeping me on six months for another round as I think they think I am a worrier :)

They said there was no medical reason, just reassurance.

Since my PSA anxiety only arose in the hour before the call, I can live with that :)

Hi all.

Big gap due to life challenges.

Main update - now on yearly tests as still < 0.03. They did not want to let me go onto yearly as early as they first said but all looks good at the moment.

Am in latter stages of divorce due to marriage failing. Just getting into zero Fs given mode but it has taken a while as it was not my choice. Main obstacle to moving on is being like Bruce Banner (Angry all the time) but ship happens. Survived cancer. Will survive this.

Other than setting up a new life, am fit and well but need to lose weight and exercise more. The joys of moving from late middle age to early old age :)

I'm really sorry to hear about your divorce.

Thanks all for the kind responses. In many ways, this is harder than the cancer as the emotional burden of losing my wife still hits me like physical pain every day (she dropped me) and living in digs until I get the house sale money is lousy. I’m stuck in a dead wen job after a forced career break due to my amnesia event and I just want to retire but I’m stuck unless I can work out a way to retire at 60 without losing out. I want to make up for lost time for the rest of my life but right now I’m stuck in limbo. “Life is difficult.”

Pete I have to ask, why are you living in digs? Please make sure you get legal advice and do not just roll over for your ex wife. You have just as much right to live in the ex marital home as she does, no point paying rent while waiting for a sale.
