Hi

wonder if anyone can tell me how long after brachytherapy is it safe to have a tattoo

If permanent seed brachy then in theory 6 months should be safe but best to check with your radiation team where you were treated. I wouldn’t want to put the tattoo artist at risk, especially if she was a she and could possibly be pregnant.

On forearm
It is going to be wife’s name

Just know we have to carry the medical card for 3years

So wondered if there would be a problem

Think I may be being a little too cautious then as I had the permanent seed brachytherapy done January 2016

But never had a tattoo done before
