my new posts not posted

When a new thread is started it is referred to the moderators for approval lest it contains content which is not considered appropriate. This inevitably results in delay, the extent of which can vary due to availability of moderators. I think generally speaking a subject would have to be very unsuitable to be rejected, although it did happen to me on one occasion. I had posted a link to an official UK Government warning about the dangers of smoking . It was originally rejected but subsequently approved when reviewed by someone with a bit of sense.

The current forum format could be better in some respects and I find as another reported also, that I have to edit a post to be able to get a link highlighted for example.
