Hi !

I write as someone who was diagnosed about a year ago with a PSA level of 910.0 but who is now down, thanks to Prostap , to  0.2

Have just joined this forum and wondering if there's anyone else with a similar problem ?

Despite my age, currently 95, I'm a firm believer in exercise simply because of the "If you don't use it, you lose it" theory.

I'd found a brilliant exercise class at Barnet Hospital and had just about finished the 12 week course when I tripped, landed on my head and finished up in A&E.  Since then I've had numerous tests, some of which showed up a heart problem which I'd probably had for years and not known about it !

The short story is that I am looking for a similar exercise group in the Barnet area where I can spend about an hour a week using modest gym equipment. (I already do seated exercises once a week)

Nice to be aboard and looking forward to any replies

Still here !

Welcome

Wow.  95.  It’s great to read your positive post.  I’m only half your age and I’m not sure we have too many others in their 90s on the forum, but you’ll meet others with a similar diagnosis to yours.

Well done you for getting on with your life and giving a positive lead to us youngsters.

Have you contacted Age UK in your area as they often have details of relevant Centres that might run the sessions you are looking for ?

Your local Council may also be able to point you in the right direction.

All the very best to you and I hope that your search is successful.

Hi Kevan

Thanks for that, did try them once when I was first looking for similar PT but finally settled for the course that my drop-in (Cherry Tree) recommended and which was run by the fantastic Isaac.

Will try them again once I get a letter from my local GP saying I'm fit for light exercises.

Still here !
