What types of research should be carried out?

I would like to know, as a regular contributor to Prostate Cancer UK, whether the organisation is funding research into GcMAF and if not, why not.   There is evidence that this product is a cheap, effective and safe treatment for cancer.   I have also raised the question with Prostate Cancer UK as to why it is not funding research into the use of Vitamin B17, e.g. in Leyatril, as, again, this seems to be a cheap, effective and safe treatment.   The answer to the latter query was to the effect that they did not believe it would work.   I am in two minds as to whether to continue donating to Prostate Cancer UK if it is only interested in funding research into products that make big profits for the big pharmaceutical companies, rather than researching less profitable, alternative treatments.

Dear Mr William J Eyre,

Since you posted this thread, I have looked into your claims especially those concerning the accusation that the regulatory body, the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has obstructed Mr David Noakes from obtaining a medical licence to investigate and treat patients using GcMAF.  You further state that some 300 scientists are behind this with another 150 peer reviewed scientific research papers. All this is, as you know perfectly well, absolute rubbish.

My first investigation led to Companies House where I researched both yourself and the charity of which you were a director until you resigned on the 1st March 2009.  It is called The Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena.  During its existence the charity has had some 71 directors.

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/02075226

An interesting fact is that the first president was the comedian Michael Bentine who suffered from prostate cancer and died in 1996.  All the information is in this link:-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_for_the_Scientific_Study_of_Anomalous_Phenomena

I then researched what exactly this association investigates.  It seems this charity investigates crop circles and ghosts among its any activities.  A more detailed list is in this link:-

https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Association_for_the_Scientific_Study_of_Anomalous_Phenomena

Obviously it was important to discover exactly what GcMAF was and why it would be beneficial for cancer patients.  As there are many sufferers on here who would love to find a cure, I felt it prudent to do my own research,  After all, who would not want a cure?  I found the following details:-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GcMAF

It is of particular note that the following paragraph is contained in the link:-

" In 2015 the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) closed a factory in Milton, Cambridgeshire owned by David Noakes' company Immuno Biotech manufacturing GcMAF for cancer treatment.[14] In September 2018 Noakes pleaded guilty to manufacturing a medicinal product without a manufacturer’s licence, selling or supplying medicinal products without market authorisation, and money laundering."

In fact, the truth is Mr William J Eyre that your post is one long continuous lie.  To claim that Noakes, a common criminal, has been obstructed by the MHRA is a deceit, a con and a fraud.  You have come on to a Prostate Cancer Charity forum making fraudulent claims, not just about the product but the regulatory body too and conveniently omit to tell anxious patients that the man behind the scam is a criminal.  You also omit your role in this so-called charity that investigates crop circles and ghosts.  Perhaps at 69, your age is catching up with you?

This thread has to be the most obnoxious one on this forum, peddling to patients' worries and concerns, that is, people who are suffering and living in hope of a cure.  You should be utterly ashamed of yourself, you are an absolute disgrace to humanity.

Dronfieldman, the people from PCUK do not take part in this message board so they are unlikely to see your question :-(

Could you expand on the details of these potential therapies please, for those of us who are not fully qualified biochemists, urologists or oncologists?

Many thanks, John.

David Noakes struggled to get a medical licence for GcMAF, as two of the panel of the MHRA (the Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Authority) are directors of big pharmaceutical companies, meaning that only medicines that make big profits for such companies get approved.   So he went ahead with research and treatment anyway.

GcMAF is a human protein, which, when injected, acts as an immunotherapy. It saves the lives of 75% of terminal stage 4 cancer patients, without side effects, at 1% the cost of chemotherapy. If it was put into the NHS it could save 120,000 lives a year, save the NHS £2 Billion on its drugs bill, and empty thousands of beds. Mr Noakes's company, Immuno Biotech, treated 11,500 people; 239 doctors chose it and 1,400 patients around the world have submitted feedback on their excellent results with GcMAF.   There are 300 scientists behind GcMAF and 150 peer reviewed scientific research papers.

I have seen videos taken at conferences in which patients have testified to successful treatment via GcMAF.

The MHRA, however, is preventing research from continuing into this treatment.   Prostate Cancer UK ought to be making representations to the MHRA to allow research to continue.

Vitamin B17 is present in apricot kernels and apple pips, etc.   Research has shown that this product can prevent and sometimes cure cancer.   I remember seeing an item on the News on TV when I was in the USA in which a young man was being interviewed, explaining that he had had cancer three times, been written off by the doctors each time, and who had got better three times by swallowing apple pips.   Apple pips and apricot seeds are poisonous when taken in large quantity but there is evidence that they are useful when taken in small quantity.

I will e-mail PCUK in due course re. GcMAF but wait and see whether forum users have any more comments first.

I would expect that Prostate UK use specialist expertise to decide what limited studies they can afford to support. Also, what is being investigated/trialed elsewhere may be a factor. I have not as yet researched GcMAF but I am aware that B17 has been considered for many years and the general view is that it does little if anything for cancer.  It can be dangerous and was banned in the USA.

Do let us know what Cancer Research UK say about GcMAF.

I received a reply from PC UK to my query about whether they were supporting research into GcMAF.   The relevant part of the reply was:-

*******************************************************

As far as we’re aware, there have not been any clinical trials to test the use of GcMAF in prostate cancer, and we wouldn’t recommend the use of any treatment without evidence of clinical benefit or safety.

We’re committed to funding research that will make a positive difference to the lives of men with, or at risk from, prostate cancer, and to achieve that it’s essential that we make sure that the research we fund is of the highest possible standard Every funding application we receive is rigorously assessed for its scientific merit, first by a number of international experts in the relevant area of research (a process called peer review) and then by an expert committee. Any applications to investigate the use of GcMAF in prostate cancer would be treated the same way.

***********************************************************

It seems that they haven't received a request to support clinical trials.   The problem is that the MHRA is doing its utmost to close down the GcMAF lab and won't allow clinical trials!

So it seems ‘Dronfieldman’, a.k.a. Billy Eyre (Liar?), has been caught with his trousers down.

And there was me thinking that after a few vitamin B17 pills I would have a raging hard-on and any distant mestastases would be eliminated! Disappointed.

Anyway, I am having a large dose of vitamin sea next week, the Red Sea, maybe that will improve my erectile function!😉

Cheers, John.

Thanks but it would be better if people like this were banned from being here.

I've located the actual court case at Southwark Crown Court and the defendants are either involved directly with David Noakes company, Immuno Biotech or his other company Macro Innovations where the directors/employees (past or present) were prosecuted.   So, there is no doubt at all.

The gory details of how he made £10m selling this fake product and the other defendants, his wife and 2 doctors, are listed with the sentences they received.  Unfortunately, the article has a picture of him.  The BBC covered the story in detail too.

Good posting and research but have you reported it to the moderators using the exclamation mark? They would normally have closed a thread like this down by now which makes me think it hasn’t been reported.

Hi mum,

When I press send to report, a pop up appears and says are you sure?  I press ok and then it is another page '404 not found'. So, not sure what this is about?

Luv Angry
