Immunological consequences

I used to run 10 miles under 60 minutes 5 days a week, played division one rugby into my late 30s, and joined the Air Force at 35. only sick in one period in that time.

Now, after surgery (no radiation, no chemo, negative PSA), I‘ve been hospitalised three times this year. Does a change in testosterone compromise the immune system?

Were the hospitalisations all for the same problem?

When was your surgery?

Prostatectomy doesn't affect totesterone unless it's combined with hormone therapy

The hospitalizations were for gastritis and pneumonia. 2 of former, which included uncontrolled vomiting, and one of latter. My prostate cancer surgery was one year ago.

Only times I‘ve had to go to hospital otherwise in last 30 years were broken bones.
