after acute water retention , had catheter out today still on tamsulosin , one tablet a day . i should think its individual but i wonder how long it takes to repair /smooth out the waterworks ? has anyone used tamsulosin  and how long did it take to really help the flow etc .

Hi Malcolm,

I was prescribed it when I started having "flow" issues at an early stage in my radiotherapy. It worked within 24h and greatly improved things. Hope it works as well for you.
