I am 53 next week and just been diagnosed yesterday so I am hoping to fight this with your support

Sorry you join us due to PCa. It would be helpful for us to offer support if you obtain and add to your Profile details of your diagnosis. Meanwhile I suggest you download or obtain a hard copy of the 'Toolkit' which is available through the publications section of this Charity. It provides useful information about this disease and various treatment possibilities.

Hi Bob

I was 46 when I was diagnosed and am now almost 49, so a little bit younger than you. There does seem to be more of us 'younger' men being diagnosed. As Old Barry has said, it would be good to get a bit more of your diagnosis and then people will be better able to support you. I've found this forum invaluable and the specialist nurses are brilliant.

Bob has another post answering his questions and giving his diagnosis. It would be better if the diagnosis was on your profile as people often use that to base their replies.
