6 month check uphead

Following my RARP in December I underwent my second PSA check yesterday. The result is now in and my PSA remains undetectable. My continence is fine, apart from the odd drip when I am very tired. In relation to ED I am now about 50% without drugs and about 80% (functional) with 100mg Viagra. My wife assures me that the nagging mild headache and stuffy nose that this causes is a small price to pay! Still a bit leaky when aroused but this is improving. The surgeon is happy with my progress and remains optimistic. Basically I am back to doing everything that I was before the operation. I hope this gives some comfort and cause for optimism to those who have only recently been diagnosed with localised prostate cancer. It is a dreadful time but you can reasonably hope for a good outcome. The PSA checks are and I expect always will be an anxious time, but it is something that you have to come to terms with. Hope for the best and get on with your life.

Looking good. Hope this works for you long term and that side effects reduce even more over time.
