Sharing my lighter experience

Hello all

I was diagnosed 5 years ago and underwent robotic surgery and followed up with radiotherapy. Its been an amazing 5 years of discovery and enjoyment, despite the changes PC has made to my body. I was 51 and only got tested as my friend passed away, and then discovered my own diagnosis.

But like I say ive been very lucky. I've shared my story on a facebook page which I did in video form. I am happy to share the videos with anyone who thinks they could benefit from my lighter approach to the experience.

I am also a volunteer for PCUK providing talks . I'm loving the impact it has on awareness. I attended a golf dinner where i had talked previously. Two of the men said that on the strength of the talk they had been to the doctors and were successfully diagnosed for early stage PC.

PCUK are doing an amazing job, and its great to be part of helping others
