PSA 1 year and 3 months after RP

All,


I received yesterday a new PSA mark.


This time it came at 0.02. 3 months ago it was 0.03.


I am happy with the results and wanted to spread the news :-)

I notice you are quoting to 2 decimal places, this means there is some rounding going on. So you may actually be 0.025 but one month it gets rounded up because it's 0.026 and next month it gets rounded down because it 0.024.

Don't even think about worrying until you have had 3 rises in s row.

3 months later, tested today and PSA is 0.03. Increased slightly!

Thanks Francij and Lyn,


I called the lab once and they say they only report after 0.01 even though the machine can read lower till 0.0001. A bit silly in my view but maybe to protect from the PSA test.


Since the beginning of these quarterly tests that I have seen a trend of marks around 0.03, so I will try not to worry.
