Because treatment appears to be varied across the country I have started a Facebook group specifically for people affected by Prostate Cancer in the Wigan area.
I myself was diagnosed in February and have had multiple problems with poor communication and misdiagnosis also considering we have a centre of excellence in Christie Hospital the choice of treatment is limited and any monitoring once you start treatment (I am on HT) is non existent.
The group is available to everyone but will concentrate on issues and experiences of Prostate Cancer in the Greater Manchester area.
