Raised psa after a long time

My PSA for over a year has been <0.1 but my latest PSA shows 6. I see my oncologist tomorrow. Is it possible there has been a mistake? The cancer was confined to the prostate.  Do you think they will do another blood test to double check? I have the last of three years of hormone injections to go.

I would think they would do another test, but I would ask them to add a testosterone test, as that would show if the previous hormone injection didn't work (not that PSA should have gone that high even so).

A rise to 6 is a worry, you need to make sure you get an answer from your onco.
