Hi All further to last conversation when registrar wasn't happy with PSA reading of 0.03. I contacted Clinical Nurse who said that this reading seemed fine to her. She suggested another blood test which I have just had results of 0.008 very happy with this long may it continue. Wait now to see Oncologist in November, when hopefully he can do something about my "Boobs" and pain caused by hormone tablets.

Good luck to all fellow sufferers.

Great news - ultrasensitive testing can cause a lot of unnecessary stress.

I don't consider it acceptable to wait until November to sort out the boobs.

Ask for Tamoxifen now (providing you aren't at high risk of DVT or have any heart problems). I got it by asking the clinical nurse specialist (she went and got a prescription from an oncologist the same day).

See your GP to check that it isn't lymphodema - if so, water tablets might help. Swelling in the pubic area can be a sign of lymph damage during the RT.

I'm afraid not. Those require exercise to remove.

I rather doubt tamoxifen will even reduce breast fat - only prevent/reduce breast glandular tissue, and for reduction, only in the case of recent growth.
