Hi. Dad has had phlegm on chest for months. Had xrays and antibiotics but confirmed not infection. Been told that nodules look suspicious but not to worry as not very common to go to lungs. Gp said different. His psa dropped from 102 to 17 to 13.  Mets in most bones and Gleeson 9. Been told c.t scan to be done.  What's your honest thoughts. I'm wanting to be prepared as just 2 off us x

Well, there are types of prostate cancer that are more likely to go to the lungs but your dad had biopsies as part of his diagnosis and should know if he had one of the rare types. It doesn’t really make much difference at the moment; as long as the PSA is dropping or stable, the hormones are doing their job. Keep an eye on him for signs of chest infection or pneumonia - a significant risk for anyone but especially in his situation.
