You are doing great. Hope your recovery continues. Yes I am waiting for my results about the same time but as yet have not received an appointment date .

Just had mine through for the 19th Feb - day after my silver wedding anniversary - fingers crossed for ultra low PSA and good histology!

Looking at your numbers you seem to be in a better position having T2b compared to mine T3a /N0/M0 Gleasom 3+4 psa 8.74 I am not sure how much of a difference is between T2b and T3a other than mine was at the edge of the prostrate but might not be contained, whereas yours is within the prostrate. That's my understanding but could be wrong. Good luck with the results.

Biopsies 5 out of 11 cores on the right, left hand side biopsies benign. Fingers crossed we don't get any upgrades.

Gents

Just wanted to wish you the best for your PSA readings.  Saw my urologist today for PSA reading of 0.02 six weeks post op and confirmation that negative margin (which is good as I understand it) in tissue margin removed.

Next PSA in 4 months when I hope reading will be undetected.

Best wishes

Thanks Grant.

Things getting easier by the day. Now TED stockings and injections all finished. Down to a level 1 pad during the day.  Still some discomfort but easing. Pee flow almost back to normal... lets hope good news from followup on 19th Feb.

Great progress, here’s hoping your February review is reassuring too.

Had follow-up with the surgeon who carried out the op today who confirmed good negative margins!  Chuffed to bits. Just the PSA test and follow-up with my consultant on the 19th Feb, and hopefully I can manage to get this behind me.

Now just about fully continent  (still have a safety pad for drips and dribbles), finally managed to get some traction on ED support today as well, and have returned back to work on a phased return (1/2 days).

Onwards, ever upwards!  No bell ringing for me as I also have leukaemia and still on chemo for that,  but I'll be glad to see the back of this cancer hopefully!

fantastic news and great to hear you are doing so well and almost ready to go back to work. How are you doing fitness wise?

Fitness wise, I'm building up gradually trying desperately to regain the fitness status I had while I was serving (although I'm 60 this year and have to recognise that as well).

I've lost 10lbs since the op, and aiming for at least another stone. Walking lots more and hope to get back on my bike when I retire in April. Still get a bit of discomfort in the area where the prostate once was if sitting on a hard seat for too long, but that's gradually diminishing.

ED wise - dead as a Dodo, but now I have have managed to get some prescriptions sorted out for cialis and pump.

Sounds like you are doing really well. Long may that continue.

Sorry to hear about the Ed. I am the same but wasn't that great before the op if I am honest. Good to hear you have lost some weight too and getting back to fitness. Good luck and hope you continue with your recovery.
