Bob Willis

It looks as though PCa has claimed another victim as Bob's family are asking for donations to Prostate Cancer. A wonderful cricketer and broadcaster, I find it so sad that we still cannot identify this disease in its early stages.  I will keep trying to raise money in the hope we can conquer this and give more men the chance of a longer and fulfilling life. RIP Bob.

Agree, a wonderful cricketer broadcaster and character. Much research is being taken in many countries to find ways to identify PCa at an early stage, refine existing treatments and find new ones to treat at appropriate stages. Progress has been slow but there has been some, particularly in identifying though genes men who are more susceptible and developing more kinds of treatments and using existing ones in different ways.

Who can forget the great R.G.D Willis in full flow. Tremendous bowler, insightful commentator and all round great guy. Like many others taken too early by this dreadful disease. RIP Bob.
