Thanks for all your previous good wishes.

I've just had my six monthly PSA and it is still 0.1 so I'm very pleased with that. I have had no treatment or HT for four years and I was treated with curative intent so all is looking good.

For people curious about the less than sign (<) or lack of it in this case. I have noticed that the GP software which is called 'Patient Access' never shows the < sign, whereas the NHS app which also shows my test results, does show the < sign when appropriate. So people for whom the < is important would be advised to install the NHS app to check their results. In my case any PSA less than 2.1 is good so I'm not worried about whether my PSA is 0.1 or <0.1 .

PSA result 0.1 on 10th Dec 2024. Obviously I'm very pleased with that. I'm surprised it hast stayed this low, I do have a prostate.

I had a five year health check. Nurse basically told me I'm a bit fat and I drink too much. I don't think I needed her to tell me that. Still nice to get the blood results which were all normal or a tiny bit out of range.

My ferritin has been high for years and they managed it with venesection for a few years, then 12 years ago they forgot to follow up and I didn't pursue it. Anyway it is now just back in the normal range all of its own accord. So that means I made the right choice not to have over a decades worth of blood letting (they probably would have sold it to the black pudding factory, to fund the chief execs golf trips).

Well done Dave!

I had my last hormone jab in October, so I am dreading the summer results after it wears off.

It's good to read a good result. Cheers!

I like the use of the old English 'hast' too.   Dost thou. :)

I had to go back and check my post to see where I had drifted in to old English. I burst out laughing 😆 when I saw it.

I will leave my dear readers to come to their own conclusions as to whether I am a scholar of this great and poetic language, passed down from Chaucer through Shakespeare and now being continued in my own humble musings on this platform, or whether I've just got fat fingers and a slim keyboard.
