Updating my Prostate Cancer blog

After a lengthy delay, caused by my inconvenient hospitalisation and slow recovery, I have finally managed to update my blog.

There are three new chapters, and an update to the last one I had posted before I had surgery.

https://stewart124.wordpress.com/the-prostate-thing-16-the-dark-cloud/ tells the story of my October 2019; it isn’t in any way the entertaining or light reading that my regular readers might expect.

https://stewart124.wordpress.com/the-prostate-thing-16-and-the-results-are/ has been updated and has actually now become chapter 17, slightly amended from the original.

https://stewart124.wordpress.com/the-prostate-thing-18-its-a-journey-apparently/ tells of the preparations for surgery that I went through.

https://stewart124.wordpress.com/the-prostate-thing-19-anus-horribilis/ is an account of my stay in hospital, including the outcome of the surgery.

Once again I have to be honest and say that there is very little in any of these new chapters about my Prostate Cancer. However for new readers the PC journey starts at https://stewart124.wordpress.com/the-prostate-thing-1-introduction/  The focus of the more recent posts is very much on the treatment for my Anal Cancer instead. But of course the prostate problem is still lurking in the background, just making sure I don’t get complacent!

My goodness, you have had a huge amount to deal with. Hope things are settling down.

Thank you Ido4.

Yes, I'm beginning to get back to a slightly more normal life now.  How much I'll be able to return to my full active lifestyle I'm not sure, but I'll work on it!

Hi Stew, glad to hear things have improved. There will be a new normal but hopefully you can do most of the things that make you happy.
