Hi all I have my prostap injection due 8th May and with all that's going on do you think I will still receive this. Cheers Richard

Yes - it is essential that you still have it. If it is normally done at your GP practice and COVID is still a problem, they may suggest a district nurse comes out to the house instead - or they may have a system at your surgery to minimise the number of patients on site at any time. If you usually have it at the hospital, they will tell you if it needs to be done a different way to normal.

I had my first Prostap jab today at GP surgery.

They had strict access procedures and have limited appointments.

Nurse masked and gloved.

It maybe your GP has similar protocols in place

I had my Zoladex yesterday. I did wear a mask, as were all the staff (gloves too for the staff).

I asked the nurse to explain in detail with a view to me doing it myself next time if (as I suspect) covid will still be going on. She was happy to do so (although there was nothing more than is in the instructions).
