Cycling and RT

15 months now since the end of RT, and I've started doing quite a bit of cycling both for enjoyment and to help me lose some of the weight I put on during HT.

One issue I've experienced is that when I cycle I sometimes get rear-end "leakage" and things can get a bit slippery down there. Nothing solid, just sticky liquid. Never happens in everyday life, just while cycling. I'm using a saddle with a hole in the middle to reduce pressure on the perineum, but presumably this is pressure-related.

Other than doing what I've started doing, which is to stuff a wedge of TP down my undies before I start my bike ride, can anyone suggest any remedy?

Cheers,

Chris

This is an ideal question for our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at The FOPS Prostate Support Group. These sessions are currently running over Zoom.

The next one will probably be 8th or 15th July - I'll post a thread here when I've fixed the date with the consultants.
