Firstly I know that this is a minor issue but...
I had my RP in June of last year, open surgery. I had intended to raise this issue at my 9 month review with my consultant in March but along came Covid. There is still no sign whatsoever of a resumption of outpatient clinics.
The issue is simply that in the V of my groin the soft tissue is still hard and swollen on both left and right sides I have read that it can take 6 months for this to subside and I presume that it’s caused by the removal of the lymph nodes. It means that crossing my legs is something that I have to think about doing and is uncomfortable. Lying on my front at night is also uncomfortable.
Anyone got any tips, other than seeing my GP, as the NHS seems quite happy at the moment not seeing patients.
Thanks
Rob
