Hi does anybody know if there are any support groups up and running in the north east I live in Chester le street

By coincidence, I got a email yesterday from my local support group. They are going to try a zoom meeting rather than meeting face to face. This site does have a list of local support groups with contact details.

Quite a lot of support groups are meeting on Zoom now.


If there isn't one nearby which is, many others will welcome you, since distance is no object over Zoom.

Unfortunately, there isn't a support goup covering South Birmingham City and emails to adjoining areas seem to go unnoticed by probably already overworked volunteers. And that was before covid!


So I am very grateful indeed for this site as it appears to be the sole source of information for many patients.


Prostate Cancer UK does a fantastic job and deserves real acknowledgement from the government / nhs for the very important service it provides.
