PSA levels increase and decrease

Hi all.

My father in law has prostate cancer that has spread . He's on Abiraterone, he's had 3 big drops in PSA levels, since starting the treatment. But after a recent results they have risen 0.2 . And I believe now his psa levels are around 3.

I was wondering if it's normal for the PSA to rise slightly?

I understand the next tests may show more with it being a little further down the line.
