Ejaculating blood!!

Hi all, I'm a little worried. Had chemo, 37 fractions of RT in March which included everything, lymph nodes, seminal vessels etc, just coming to the end of my 18 months HT. Had an active sex life throughout using cialis and pump but never had any ejaculation come out, totally dry orgasms. On Sunday I masturbated and I ejaculated a tea spoon size amount of fresh blood! Thought maybe a one off so left it two nights and tried again but same thing happened!

Is this my body repairing from RT? I have no pain, orgasm is weak though, anybody else had this happen 6 months after RT?

I'm genuinely worried.

I think it would be sensible to contact your allocated / named specialist nurse or, failing that, the GP but also leave a message with your oncologist's secretary. It is most likely RT damage but best to get advice.

Never had this, apart from after biopsy. I agree with Lyn, contact your medics, they will know more than us.

I've rung RT / urology / and Onco secretary, all answerphones, awaiting call backs. I wouldn't mind but its not just a smear in ejaculate its full on blood coming out and as I have had dry orgasms for 18 months was a bit of a shock to say the least!

I got a call back from the radiotherapy specialist nurse who has spoken to late effects guys and my consultant. They are going to discuss me at next Wednesdays MDT meeting to see if I need further investigation. Doesn't sound promising! I was hoping for 'oh don't worry just stop playing with your widget for a few weeks and it will go away'

Had a call from the specialist radiotherapy urology nurse this morning. They had the MDT last Wednesday and looks like I'm going back to urology for further tests/scans. Was hoping it would just go away or fix itself but still ejaculating blood two weeks on!

A real shame as my last prostap runs out in a month and a half and I've had no real problems throughout all the treatment.

Sonder you are talking to someone who is already diagnosed and has had radical treatment with chemo so your comments are not relevant. What kind of doctor did you say you are?
