Psma waiting times Marsden

Hello all. My PSA has gone up to 0.34. It was 0.14 in February. My oncologist is looking into whether he can get me a psma gallium scan at the royal Marsden.  I should hear back from him in the next three to four weeks. My question is have any of you any experience of waiting times for a psma scan at the Marsden once you've been referred? If it takes a long time might I be better asking for a private referral to the London Clinic instead

Good morning Benjit, I follow this with interest. My husband is 10wks post surgery and his PSA is 0.2. He meets oncologist on Wednesday. Best wishes.

You are lucky to be offered a Gallium scan on the NHS. If I ever get biochemical recurrence I’ll be going for one too.

They cost £2600 at the Paul Strickland centre in London, or £400 in India. You could go to India, have two weeks holiday for less than the UK cost.

I hope someone else can answer your question.

Best of luck.

Cheers, John.
