ALTERNATING CHEMO WITH ENZO OR ABI

User

Hi,

Have seen recent posts on United States cancer web sites of patients who claim to have had good results by having further Enzo or Abi treatment after having second rounds of chemo. The second round follows initial failure of Enzo or Abi.Apparently this is because the AR V7 gene splice is active and  secondary chemo. has the ability in some cases to be able to turn this gene splice off so that the Enzo or Abi are effective again for a while.

Has any of our community had any direct experience of this working in practice for them or any medical trials supporting this approach?

Regards

Norm

Just moving my post up the pecking order as no responses to date. This could all be an urban myth spread by Big Pharma!

That’s weird Norm, I did reply to this as did someone else but it seems that the replies have been lost :-/

Moderators, is there a way of rescuing missing posts?

The brief answer was that this isn't new - it was a stampede arm at some point I think and certainly, the premise is that chemo can in some cases 'reactivate' abi or enza to extend the time of effectiveness.

Si_ness would probably be our best example ... or perhaps it was Nimeniton or Alex
