Constant Rectal pain

I have had a RALP on 5/2/21. It was 3 days before I had a bowel moment, as expected. Although I am feeling relatively well in myself, I am constantly experiencing a lot of pain in my rectum, which worsens when I have a bowel movement. Any advice appreciated.

You've had lots of internal abdominal muscles cut, including the muscles you use to "push" when you have a bowel movement. You're likely  to feel all sorts of pains for several months. You're in VERY early days yet. Try not to worry about it.

Best wishes,

Chris
