My husband has Type 1 Diabetes and was diagnosed with advanced PC in November 2020. He had his first chemotherapy treatment 3 weeks ago after having being prescribed HT at diagnosis. He takes Dexamethasone orally for three days prior to, during and after treatment. Steroids are renowned for causing problems with blood glucose control and he's finding his are very high at present. He's in touch with the specialist diabetes team who are providing information on how best to manage the situation. Are there any other members of the forum that have type 1 Diabetes? If so are you experiencing problems with blood glucose levels?
