Treatable not Curable

Please feel free read my updated profile.

I have just had cycle 5 of 6 of chemotherapy

For locally advanced prostate cancer.

On diognisis this was found to have broken out into the lymph nodes deep into my pelvis.

I will have a rest after my next and last Chemotherapy and then to Radiotheramopy

I feel I have coped well with everything, however last week alone I did have a crying session and a bit of a melt down. ( It took me 8 months before this has happened )

But have been fatigued more and having muscle/spine pain.

After calling the 24 hour hot line I feel back in the saddle now and must keep fighting the fight.

I have a lovely family and very good friends.

Your PSA has come down nicely. It’s a tough journey but glad you are back in the saddle.

Hope radiotherapy goes well. Keep fighting.

Hi,   Sorry to read your diagnosis.  Have they said what they intend to do at the Radiotherapy.  Your psa has come down quite a lot.  We're all different and react differently so it's not easy to read from one to another.  All the best Peter
