I'm Thinking This Could this be Prostatitis?

I've having ongoing problems where I constantly feel the need to go to the toilet (especially at night) and a sharp pain in my side that comes and goes.

I went to my Urologist and had 3 x PSA test done which showed results of 0.21, 0.68 & 1.4, so all within the range for my age (45).

I had an Ultrasound which the markers came back normal for, and today I had an MRI which I won't know the results of for a couple of days.

I'm currently on my fourth course of Antibiotics to try and clear up the UTI infection from hell that won't go away, so when I take all of this into account it sounds more like Prostatitis than cancer?

As you are finding, eradicating a UTI in some cases can be a long and difficult process with Prostatitis causing inflammation being responsible for the way you feel.

It may take more than a few days to get the result of your MRI depending on work load and scheduling.
