Hi Radar.

I am on anti depressants too - but long term fluoxetine due to a tragedy 26 years ago!! I have just started aspirin having previously avoided due to gout and no one has ever said anything about risk of bleeding.

Did you ever start back on hormones? I am more or less at the beginning of the journey with approx the same initial diagnosis as you and after 5 months of treat my PSA was 0.07 and testosterone <0.05. I meet with my oncologist on Wednesday to discuss radiation.

Cheers

Don't just stop taking Sertraline. You need to come off it gradually with the guidance of your GP.

I take fluoxetine and aspirin(due to a brain clot last year). The doctors have cleared this. Both fluoxetine and Sertraline can interact with aspirin to increase bleeding and can affect the kidneys. I get regular blood tests on my kidney and liver functions.
As Chris says you can’t just stop these drugs. If you want to come off Sertraline the doctor will give you a schedule of gradual reduction to avoid problems.
