Urethra Pain years after radiotherapy

Successfully treated for Prostate cancer 8 years ago with radiotherapy I have now developed urethra pain when peeing and I understand this can occur. Paracetamol doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem and dealt with it - not getting much help from doctor. Thanks

Have you been checked for a UTI?

If the doctor has drawn a blank, ask to be referred back to urology. It may be radiation cystitis.

Pain or stinging? If stinging, cystitis or thrush would be my bet.

Stones in the Bladder , or a stone stuck in the Prostatic urethra will cause Pain and bleeding and Bladder spasms
